Assigned by NTjong and Het Nationale Theater in Den Haag, the Netherlands Johan Nieuwenhuize worked on this audio visual installation work from November 2016 until June 2017.
He photographed, filmed and made sound recordings in three houses of worship; a church, a temple and a synagogue.

Theatre makers Els van der Jagt, Khadija Massaoudi and Martijn Klink developed plays on these same locations, using photographs from the series in the decor.

The installation is accompanied by a publication designed by -SYB-.

Audio visual installation with 195 photographs, 10 stop motion films, soundscape with 25 sound clips, made in three places of worship in the Hague, the Netherlands.
Nine projections on triangular wooden elements, 2125x1700x1700xmm / 2375x1900x1900mm / 2625x2100x2100mm.
