COLOUR at the Galvani School

Recently, I ran the first creative session for kids of the COLOUR project. The session took place at the Galvani School, a primary school in The Hague.
In collaboration with the school I modified the COLOUR creative session into a kids’ version. Usually I conduct these sessions with adults. Kids in the age of 7 and 8 learned about data labeling, and its connection to photography.
At the end of the session we discussed various topics and themes, ranging from AI and fake news to discrimination and what it means to have a bias.
Most kids found it fun, some found it hard. All participants were engaged by the method, making digital dynamics of AI and data labeling tactile.
