COLOUR at the Galvani School

Recently, I ran the first COLOUR workshop for kids. The workshop took place at the Galvani School, a primary school in The Hague.
In collaboration with the school I modified the COLOUR workshop into a kids’ version. Usually I conduct this workshop with adults. Kids in the age of 7 and 8 learned about data labeling, and its connection to photography.
At the end of the workshop we discussed various topics and themes, ranging from AI and fake news to discrimination and what it means to have a bias.
Most kids found it fun, some found it hard. All participants were engaged by the workshop method, making digital dynamics of AI and data labeling tactile.
